♥New Schedule♥

I kinda like my scheduel and i kinda don't.I really can't see my friends but only during passing periods.I like it because i get to meet new people and people that i don't talk to .I don't talk to everybody in my class.

Genre

There are diffirent things about sports and different games.A sports game is a computer game or a video game that simulates the playing of a traditional sport.

Sweet 15

The book that i have been reading is called Sweet 15. This girl named Destiny is having a quinceanera. She is a tomboy and she likes to skateborad. She's not a princesa like her mother imagines or an activist like her sister. She also wouldn't find the guy of her dreams to be her escort for her quince. Her mom is a professor an her dad is a scientist, she is woried about how much it is going to be for the quince.

In the arms of strangers

This movie was about the Nazis and the jewishs They had no Jewish business because people where braking into the stores and in Churches.Too many bad things where happening and This girl wanted to leave Germany. In 1938 the Nazis let the children's leave , but they couldn't take any valuables, only clothes and stuff that they needed. They got transported by trains, boats &
planes. When they were on boat some of the kids got sea sick. This one sigh in Austria said "Every student who is part Jewish report to the head master".Because they didn't not belong there or there race. When they are living with there foster parents the parents would write to them and the kids will write back. They could only send 25 words to there kids and send it thought the national post office. When the kids where over there they got to meet diffrent kids and people.

The Diary Of Anne Frank

We are watching this movie called The Diary Of Anne Frank. She was born in Frankfurt,Germany on June 20,1929. She was the second daughter of Otto and Edith Frank. I thought this movie was going to be boring but after all it is not as boring. This family is living in a attic but there was people living there too.I like this movie alot.Anne Frank was one of the Jewish victims of Nazi persecution during the second world war. Then when World War II started her father, Otto Frank and some other clients where he worked created a hiding place in an annex to the office. The family moved into the hiding place as soon as possible.
One day in August 1944, a little after two years of hiding, the Frank family was found and put into a concentration camp. Anne and Margot died of typhus in Bergen-Belsen in March 1945, she died when she was about 15 years old.:( Anne Frank

Mini game

My favorite part about making this mini game it that we are learning new stuff.I also like that we can move things around and get to dreat things. My least favorite part of the mini game project is there is so many diffrent steps. We should add sound effects and make the game more interesting for people can play the game and enjoy it.So far i'm enjoying the mini game project.

Weekly Blog

~This week we are learning how to make mini games. We are trying to learn so we can make games for our social issue project .My social issue is slavery. But one thing is that we are working in partners because some of the computers lets us get on and some of don't lets us get on.I like working in partners because one mind is better than one. When I start getting the hang of making games I will star making games by myself. We are saving our games on a flash drive so we can remember where our project is at.We are on step 3 and going on step 4.I think this is fun to do because you can creat games.I hope we finish our mini game so we can make our own mini game.

Weekly blog

~Well yesterday we have been talking about internet reseach. We have also been talking about what the .org,.com,.edu.and .gov mean.I want to know more about my slavery issue.Slavery is interesting to me because it is kind of sad to see people getting slaved and getting hit.We watched a movie about paper clips. This kids rasied over 24 million. They had no room to put all of the boxes with the paper clips and so this couple gave them an i dea to get a old shed wagon thing so they can put the boxes. So when they recived there shed they were exccited and they started to put there paper cilps. When we web we should go to sites that people can not edit or make any thing up and just add stuff.~

Slavery

In the begging in the early 1600's,African slaves were used for household help and farm work in North America.Well the Northern states became more industrial,so they eventually had less of a need for slave labor.Slave-trading was a big international business. In Africa, merchants would exchange European goods for slaves.African slaves were then sent to the New world, where they would cultivate,or prepare, raw materials like sugar and timber for there masters. This cargo was then sent back to Europe, where it was sold and made it into finishing goods. This was called the triangular trade.Slaves where packed into cargo areas,or holds. It was a difficult trip that took anywhere from 25-150 days.Slaves where workers who had no rights at all. There owners could make them work all day without rest, beat them and even kill them, and it was all legal. In 1808,bringing slaves from Africa became illegal.By the 1850s all of the northern states had outlawed slavery and freed their slaves. And racism is still a big problem today. There is so many different kinds of slavery.

Communication

~One way you can communicate is by  sending messages. If you are doing a project and you need to know something and you don't know it you can send someone a message and see if they know it.Another way you can communicate online is web cam.If you are trying to see how to fix something you can web cam with somebody~

Nutrition

~I think eating healthy is good for you because when you grow up you wont have any health problems. If you eat fast foods you body wont stay healthy and sometime when you eat fast foods everyday might be obese. When you eat healthy you can grow your own food and it might be less expensive.Eating healthy is important.~

My Choice

~Well my tias are having a party for my baby cousins they are going to turn 1year old.My baby cousin Lilly was born October 25 and Mariha was born November 2.They are going to have there parties together. We are going to have a halloween costume contest. They are going to have the party at The Muller Park. This is going to be next week~

Blue Gold

~Blue Gold is a movie about water.Did you know 97% of our earth is salt water and 3% of it is fresh water. It talks about how much water cost in a plastic water bottle and coke in a glass. It is cheaper to buy coke than a water bottle.Once you drain a lake there wouldn't be any more water to put in the lake if there is it would only be a little bit.It also talks about how people really don't have clean water to drink. That is what Blue Gold was about.~

Slavery

~ I choosed slavery because it is not good but people do it in other place.I think it is important to me because they mistreat the slaves. It is really sad because they don't care about them. They  don't give them food or any think to drink. If they get sick the other people won't care about them.~

Challenges

~My biggest challenge in Globaloria is writing on my blog.It is kind of hard to write a post when you don't have anything to write about.I overcomed it by writting everyday.I have faced  turning in my homework on time. But so far I had turned my homework in time~

My favorite song

~My favorite song is Just a dream by:Nelly here goes a video of it~

Energy Hog

~The Energy hog is a game where you are trying to get the energy hog away.I think is is a fun game to play when you are not doing anything. You do things like try to shoot the window before he comes, memory game, and  try to finish the maze.~

My Choice

~Well today  I have to go to the Frank Erwin Center to go see Curious George With my brother.I think it is going to be so boring I really don't want to go but I have to.=( Then Saturday I am going to Chilll's to go Celebrate my Tia's Birthday.I hope we have a good time and she has a good party. Then Sunday the adults are going on a party bus to celebrate her party and they are going to the River walk and celebrate.=)~

Meaningful

~I think Food inc was nasty and mean.Because the chickens where getting slaughtered and they proply didn't like it.The factory people where mistreating the chickens. There was this boy named Kevin who ate a regular hamburger and died from eatting it I thought that was sad too~

My choice

~Well saturday I am going to the service learning project. Then after I go to the service learning project. After that we are going to my grandmas to go hang out and make BBQ.Then saturday im going to Wazoo to go celebrate my cousins birthday. Social Issue (part2)

~I learned that young kids drop out of school.I think they shouldn't drop out of school because they wont get a very good education or a very good job.If they go to college there parents wont care because they droped out of school~

Least effective..

~The least effective game that I think was drift runners. The genre is racing. The game is really not educated because you are just racing and not learning anythink else.It is just racing people and learning how to drive. But you will really not drive on the computer in real life.If I would do something to change that game I will buy a car take a drivings test get my drivers liscens and I get to drive everywhere.~

Most Effective

~The game that I think is most effective is WV animal rescue squad.Because I like to help animals that are hurt. You can learn how to take care of animals. When kids get bigger they will know how to take care of there pets. You should buy your own pets and if you dont take care of it the vet should come to your house and get the animal. Then you can take classes and when you know how to take care of it you can get the animal back.I think the game is an adventure game.I think the game should have more things to do~

Social issue

~A social issue is kids droping out of school. When kids drop out of school they cant get a very good education. When they grow up they cant get a very good job.EX: doctor, lawyer, and police. They will not be able to get there own house~
